All about my new hair😍

Hey ya!

How are you guys doing? 😀 Today I am going talk about my new hair.. Wohooo I am so excited 😍 I always wanted to balayage my hair which is nothing but ombre! I saw many  girls getting it done and I used to love it. Then I finally got a chance in getting it done, So here I am to share my experiences and the products I am using right now for maintenance.

I got my hair color done from Envy salon Hyderabad. I don’t remember the shade number exactly, as you guys know that the salon guys usually show you a chart with all the shades and we will have to pick from that ..  and I did the same thing. I picked a shade which is reddish brown mix of two colors from Wella. The pricing there starts from Rs 5k. Mine was also close to the same price. It took about 45 min to get the desired color after application. And this is the final look.😀

It looks slightly reddish in this photograph because of the lighting from the surroundings but it is brown! And this pic is clicked immediately after the color treatment 😊

Now lets get into the products I use. Post coloring, hair maintenance is very important to avoid damage and retain the color.

Hair Oil: I am using L’Oreal Six Oil Nourish for my hair. I highly recommend this oil .. it is so good in nourishing your hair. The six oil formula works great and has a great fragrance. I apply this oil the night before I wash my hair.

Price: Rs 199/- for 100 ml

Shampoo and Conditioner: It is very important to choose a right shampoo after coloring. I am using Bblunt shampoo and conditioner as they have color protectant formula. Combination of the above hair oil and this shampoo made a lot of difference in how my hair looks. Look how cute the bottles are😀.

Price: Shampoo – Rs 450/- for 400 ml,  Conditioner – Rs 375/- for 200 ml

Hair mask and serum: I am using L’Oreal Total Repair Masque and Garnier Split End Control Serum to avoid damage. I use this masque once in a week and just an hour before hair wash and post wash I take two pumps of this serum and apply it just on my hair till tips I don’t use serum and conditioner on scalp, its just not good for the scalp. Alternatively I use homemade hair mask and argan oil in place of serum.

Price:

L’Oreal Total Repair Masque – Rs:369/- for 200 gms

Garnier Split End Control Serum Rs 299/- for 50 ml

Styling products: I am not a person who styles hair every day but I do it once or twice a month. This is a important step. Before I start styling, I use heat protectant to avoid heat damage and then I go ahead and style it my way. I use Bblunt serum and Tony & Guy heat protection spray.

Price:

BBlunt Leave-in Cream – Rs 450/- for 150 gm

Tony&Guy Heat Protection Mist – Rs 750/- for 150 ml

This is a photograph taken today and this is how my hair looks now 🙂
