Monsoon Makeup Essentials

Hi guys!

How are you all doing? Monsoon is here and its raining cats and dogs in India. So I thought of sharing my Monsoon Makeup Essentials and a simple makeup look with you all.

Whatever the season is you need to moisturize your face, specially something with SPF helps you maintain your skin. Also you can step out happily without worrying about uncertain weathers. I am currently loving this moisturizer from Lotus herbals with SPF 25. It also helps as a perfect makeup base. I usually leave it here but if you want coverage you can top it up with foundation.

Blush, Contour and Highlight:

For blush I use Maybelline cream blush and use powder blush on top. And for contour and highlight this NYX contour stick is a good option. It is suggested not to use any illuminators as our skin will tend to become oily because of the weather.

Use Eye shadow Crayons or Maybelline Color Tattoos as base or as it is. These are usually waterproof so stays on for long time. Also Try using using kohl pencils to line your waterline and upper lash line. The one from PAC or Lakme kajal pencils are good choices for this monsoon. For good pop of color opt for different colors instead of regular black.

Eyebrows and Mascara:

For eyebrows it is advisable to use brow pomade. I am using Lakme kajal pencil in brown personally and I am happy with the outcome. For mascara there are many waterproof options in market. One of the reasonable and affordable options is Maybelline Barbie Mascara..

Line your lips with nude color and top it up with any liquid lipstick it will help the color stay long. My pick is all time favorite Chambor liquid lipsticks.

I have created a simple make up look for you all. This can be easily carried from day to night look by just changing the lip color.

Step 1 – Prime your eyes or use concealer as base. You can also use Maybelline color tattoo in bronze shade as base color. It will help the eye makeup stay longer.

Step 2 – Draw a line with brown eye pencil on your crease.

Step 3 – Smudge it into the crease and blend it with eyeshadow, you can use brown or black upto your taste.

Step 4– Take golden or champagne shade eyeshadow and pat it all over eyelid.

Now do your brows. Highlight the brow bone and inner corner. I used blue eye pencil on water line and Pac eye pencil on upper lash line and finished with Maybelline Barbie mascara.

Add your favorite blush and lip color to finish the look.

That’s it for now guys. Let me know how you liked this look. Also please show some love by following me on all my social media linked below.
