Overnight Oats

Hey guys!

How is everyone? Its been a while since I have done a recipe post. If you are following me for a while you must have noticed that most of the recipe posts mainly focus on healthy eating. So today I will share one of my favorite and easy recipes “Overnight Oats”

If you’re new to this concept of overnight oats it’s nothing but letting your oats soak in milk and curd along with your favorite ingredients. This involves no process of cooking and best part is that its an on the go breakfast for those who have no time for making breakfast. So without further ado lets get started.

Your three must have ingredients are Oats, Greekyogurt (or any yogurt available) and milk (you can also use almond, cashew or soya milk instead)

Banana chocolate chip oats

Ingredients

Oats – 2 tbsp

Chia seeds – 1 tsp

Salt – 1 pinch

Greek yogurt- 2 tbsp cup

Low fat milk – 1 small cup

Half banana

Chocolate chips – 1 tbsp

Honey – 1 tbsp

Method

Layer all the ingredients in a nice jar. Refrigerate it overnight. Mix it in morning and enjoy the oats.

Fruit and nut oats:

This is by far my favorite recipe.

Ingredients

Oats – 2 tbsp

Chia seeds – 1 tsp

Salt – 1 pinch

Greek yogurt- 2 tbsp cup

Low fat milk – 1 small cup

Half apple

Mixed berries – 1 tsp

Mixed nuts – 1 tsp

Honey – 1tbsp

Method

Layer all the ingredients in a nice jar. Refrigerate it overnight. Slice half an apple and top it up. Mix it in morning and enjoy the oats. I add grapes on top just before eating for that tangy sweet flavor. It’s optional and you can choose any fruit of your choice.
