Frequently asked questions
Can I use Ferulic Acid and Glycolic Acid together?
Yes, it is safe. There is no known chemical conflict between Ferulic Acid and Glycolic Acid, and neither makes the other less effective. They share a goal (aging), so together they reinforce each other.
Which goes first, Ferulic Acid or Glycolic Acid?
Apply Ferulic Acid first, then Glycolic Acid. The general rule is thinnest to thickest texture, and lowest pH first.
Should I use Ferulic Acid in the morning or at night?
Ferulic Acid: best in the morning. Use in the morning under sunscreen, ideally in a combined C + E + Ferulic serum.
Should I use Glycolic Acid in the morning or at night?
Glycolic Acid: best at night. Use 2–3 nights a week after cleansing. Skip it on nights you use retinoids. Sunscreen is non-negotiable because AHAs raise sun sensitivity.
