Using both? Safe to mix There is no known chemical conflict between Glutathione and Glycolic Acid, and neither makes the other less effective. They share a goal (pigmentation and dullness), so together they reinforce each other. How to layer them →
Glutathione in short
A popular "glow" antioxidant in India. Topically it has some evidence for mild brightening, but it is a large, unstable molecule. Expect modest results compared with vitamin C, arbutin or niacinamide.
Glycolic Acid in short
The smallest alpha-hydroxy acid, so it penetrates deepest. It dissolves the bonds between dead skin cells for smoother, brighter skin and fades marks, but it is the AHA most likely to sting.
