What Urea does
A natural moisturising factor that pulls water into skin. At 10% and above it also softens rough, flaky patches. It is excellent for very dry skin, keratosis pilaris and cracked heels.

Is Urea safe during pregnancy?
Urea is generally considered safe to use during pregnancy and breastfeeding in normal cosmetic amounts. Very little is absorbed through the skin and it has no known risks at these concentrations.
What can I use instead of Urea while pregnant?
Niacinamide, Glycolic Acid, Lactic Acid and Mandelic Acid target similar concerns and are generally considered pregnancy-safe.
Is Urea safe while breastfeeding?
Generally yes. Avoid applying it to the chest area before feeding.
