Summer skincare routine for sensitive skin in Gurugram

Hot, dusty summers, humid monsoon and cold, polluted winters. Long hours in air-conditioned offices dehydrate skin year-round.

Summer in Gurugram: what changes

  • Reapply sunscreen every 2–3 hours outdoors. Gurugram's UV is very high in summer.
  • Dry heat dehydrates even oily skin. Mist and layer a hyaluronic serum under a light moisturiser.
  • Cut back on strong actives in peak heat (May–June). Heat plus retinoids or acids often means irritation.

Tips for your skin

  • Dry heat and AC pull water from skin. Apply serums on damp skin and keep a hydrating mist handy.
  • On high-AQI days, double cleanse every night. A morning antioxidant (vitamin C or niacinamide) helps neutralise pollution damage.
  • Patch test every new product on your jawline for 2–3 nights before using it on your whole face.
  • Budget tip: Indian D2C brands sell single-active serums for ₹300–₹700 that match premium formulas. Pay for sunscreen first.

Gurugram has regular poor-air days. Our pollution skincare routine covers what to add on those days.
