Frequently asked questions
Can I use PHA and Urea together?
Yes, it is safe. There is no known chemical conflict between PHA and Urea, and neither makes the other less effective. They share a goal (texture and hydration), so together they reinforce each other.
Which goes first, PHA or Urea?
Apply PHA first, then Urea. The general rule is thinnest to thickest texture, and lowest pH first.
Should I use PHA in the morning or at night?
PHA: works morning or night. You can use it daily. It is a good first acid, or a way to keep exfoliating on retinoid "rest" nights if your skin tolerates it.
Should I use Urea in the morning or at night?
Urea: works morning or night. Use 5–10% on the face or body daily. Higher strengths can sting on broken or freshly exfoliated skin.
