Frequently asked questions
Can I use Glycolic Acid and Kojic Acid together?
Yes, it is safe. There is no known chemical conflict between Glycolic Acid and Kojic Acid, and neither makes the other less effective. They share a goal (pigmentation), so together they reinforce each other.
Which goes first, Glycolic Acid or Kojic Acid?
Apply Glycolic Acid first, then Kojic Acid. The general rule is thinnest to thickest texture, and lowest pH first.
Should I use Glycolic Acid in the morning or at night?
Glycolic Acid: best at night. Use 2–3 nights a week after cleansing. Skip it on nights you use retinoids. Sunscreen is non-negotiable because AHAs raise sun sensitivity.
Should I use Kojic Acid in the morning or at night?
Kojic Acid: works morning or night. Patch test first. Use once daily at first, then build up.
Is Glycolic Acid with Kojic Acid safe during pregnancy?
Neither is a known risk in normal cosmetic amounts, but guidance varies for Kojic Acid. Check with your doctor.
