What PDRN does
Polydeoxyribonucleotide, a salmon-DNA-derived ingredient best known from in-clinic "salmon DNA" injections and now sold in serums. Early clinical studies suggest it may support tissue repair and hydration, but topical (as opposed to injected) evidence is still limited, so treat claims of dramatic results with caution.

What Tretinoin does
The prescription-strength retinoid, and the gold standard for acne and photo-ageing, with decades of evidence. It works directly (no conversion needed), so it is stronger and more irritating than retinol or retinal.

Frequently asked questions
Can I use PDRN and Tretinoin together?
Yes, it is safe. There is no known chemical conflict between PDRN and Tretinoin, and neither makes the other less effective. They share a goal (aging), so together they reinforce each other.
Which goes first, PDRN or Tretinoin?
Apply PDRN first, then Tretinoin. The general rule is thinnest to thickest texture, and lowest pH first.
Should I use PDRN in the morning or at night?
PDRN: works morning or night. Use as a serum step, morning or night. It has no known irritancy, so it layers easily with most other actives. It is not a substitute for an in-clinic PDRN treatment, which uses injectable-grade material under medical supervision.
Should I use Tretinoin in the morning or at night?
Tretinoin: best at night. Use only as prescribed: a pea-sized amount on completely dry skin at night, starting 2–3 nights a week. Expect dryness and a possible purge for 4–8 weeks. Daily SPF is essential.
Is PDRN with Tretinoin safe during pregnancy?
Tretinoin is generally avoided during pregnancy and breastfeeding. Ask your doctor about safer alternatives such as azelaic acid or bakuchiol.
